Chatroom
News
Talented indie artist,
Corrinne May was our last chatroom guest. A copy of the
transcript of her informative chat is available here.
About Corrinne May:
Corrinne May's winning melody was the perfect match to the lyric posted by the two Caroles for a songwriting challenge issued by the music industry
web-site TONOS.com, founded by legendary songwriter Carole Bayer Sager, composer/producer David Foster and songwriter/producer Kenneth
"Babyface" Edmonds. Corrinne is no stranger to songwriting contests, having won her
first at 15. Over the years, she has added wins from the Unisong International Songwriting contest, the Berklee Songwriting and Berklee
Performer/Songwriter contest. She is currently based in Los Angeles and has recently released her first album. Her songs have been heard on Lifetime
TV's series "The Division" and on ABC's network TV drama "One
Life To Live". They have also been recorded by artists in Asia and have found their
way to the airwaves of Belgium, Holland and Illinois, Singapore and Taiwan. She has also been featured in showcases held by the Nashville Songwriters'
Association, the Los Angeles Women in Music (LAWIM) and was a participant in
the ASCAP 2000 Lester Sil Songwriter's workshop, a workshop whose famous alumni include Grammy-award winning songwriter Diane Warren.
